They made these for about 3½ years before they terminated the sponsorship. It's basically a Raspberry Pi in a marine radio housing. Oseary worked out some deal with Larry Amin, you know, the chairman of SaudiFilm. Anyways, they ended up making about two thousand of them. They sounded awful. Like a flip phone in an empty dumpster. Indestructible though, and incredible range. We had these speakers built into our helmets, and the E1465 would sync in with those - again, the 802.11 was just great on these things.
